To accommodate growth, this financial institution sought a reputable organisation to build a well-developed new data centre network infrastructure that it could easily duplicate and install in other global locations.
The solution needed to be able to handle a very large volume of equipment whilst keeping the project timescales on track and on budget.
The client engaged Systal Technology Solutions to build, test, configure, and deploy some 16,000 devices using our specialist staging facilities in the UK, including logistical transport of the equipment to site.
Systal successfully completed the detailed staging activities ahead of the aggressive project schedule. The staging process was designed to ensure that the hardware was physically assembled with all of the required components: fans, power supplies, routing engines, and transceivers. Vendor specific Gold Testing was completed and documented including 24 hour burn-in, in both the staging area and the customer location.
The new infrastructure, was based on technology from Systal’s business partner Juniper Networks.
