Systal is now a fully-fledged, authorised partner of American cloud computing specialist Nutanix.

Nutanix offers software that enables organisations to build and operate multi-cloud architectures, while maintaining easy control of IT infrastructures at any scale.

This is driven by a single software operating system (OS) that runs across clouds, making the boundaries between private, public and distributed clouds invisible.

Nutanix solutions combine web-scale engineering with consumer-grade management to power any workload in multi-cloud environments.

The company’s software is used by several large scale organisations across many sectors including Deloitte, Yahoo! and Toyota and will be made available through Systal’s managed service offering.

Systal Director Douglas Cumming said: “Investment in new technology and partnerships is a core part of the managed network services we deliver to a range of enterprise IT customers.

“With more and more businesses using complex cloud models, software that can help simplify the build and management of critical architecture is essential.

“It’s a very exciting prospect to be named an authorised partner of Nutanix, and I’m looking forward to seeing their pioneering software supporting our customers’ requirements.”

The addition of Nutanix strengthens Systal’s existing cloud computing capabilities, which aims to bring flexibility and security to a range of enterprise organisations.
